Why I have a netbook

IT IS A PRIVILEGE TO GET AN NETBOOK. IT HELPS ME WITH MY READING AND WRITING. WE GET TO FIND OUT SOME NEW THINGS IN OUR NETBOOK. WE CAN USE IT FOR GOOD OR BAD TIMES.

WE LEARN HOW TO BE ORGANIZED AND TO BE READY FOR OUR LEARNING. THE NETBOOK HAS TAUGHT US MANY THINGS THAT WE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT.   WE CAN EMAIL PEOPLE WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE STUCK AND THEY ARE SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOU CAN DO ALL SORT OF STUFF. THE NETBOOK IS A OPEN BOOK. BY JUST THE SNAP OF MY FINGERS I AM ABLE TO LEARN NEW THINGS EVERYDAY.

THE NETBOOK IS MY LEARNING TOOL AND MY GIFT FROM THE SCHOOL. MY NETBOOK IS MY BEST FRIEND, AND THATS WHY I REALLY LOVE MY NETBOOK.   

Why I want to go Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart College appeals to me because, it is mixed with many cultures and I would like to be a part of the Sacred Heart multicultural family.

I am currently a Year8 student at Saint Pius X Catholic School in Glen Innes. I am looking forward to my last year at St Pius as I always hear a lot about Sacred Heart College. I came to the opening day with my cousins and my mum and I was excited to hear about all the wonderful opportunities provided in Sacred Heart College. I would really like to bond with other cultures so I can learn more about their nationality and how they do things different from me. If I am given the chance to attend Sacred Heart College I will make my Principal, former Teachers and especially my Mum and Dad proud and to show them that I have the confidence to learn more from a college that I would really like to be a part of. I love rugby and I hope I become a good rugby player one day so I can make the first XV.

I am really confident to make it into Sacred Heart so I can have a better life in the future.

My special person is so important to me! because she brought me up.

My special person is my Mum, because she loves me and cares for me even though I am a pain in the back side but she still loves me. Shes there when I am sad or angry. She is like my super hero to me. When I need help with anything she is there for me,Also she looks after me with all her heart.

Reading	I have nearly understand my Prefix and Suffixes  .What is suffix and prefix?  Suffix- is a morpheme at a end of a word. Prefix-it is a  word or letter or number placed before  another.
Writing	I Learnt to write a description of anything . I look forward to reading more writing from you.
Maths	This week I learn how to add 3 digit number problems. what strategy did you use?
Maori	This week I learn how to say 3 things in maori like  Nau mai-Welcome, Haere mai- Welcome Enter and Awa- river.  Great!
